U-Prox Wireport
U-Prox Wireport. It is a wireless integration module designed to bridge traditional third-party wired security detectors into the modern U-Prox wireless alarm system. Essentially, the Wireport allows you to use existing or legacy wired equipment alongside your wireless U-Prox hub, offering a flexible and cost-effective way to expand or upgrade a security installation. Key Functions and Features Feature Description Integration Bridge Converts signals from wired sensors into secure wireless communication for the U-Prox control panel (hub). Inputs Provides three inputs: two programmable zones for alarm triggers (ALM1, ALM2) and one input for a tamper loop (TMP). Power Output Offers a 3V DC power output to energize the connected wired detectors (max 50 mA current draw). Communication Uses proprietary, two-way, 256-bit encrypted radio communication with the hub. Range Achieves a long communication range of up to 4800 meters in open space. Power Supply Runs on three CR123A batteries with an expected lifespan of up to 5 years (depending on connected load). Configuration All settings, including input type definitions and sensitivity, are managed remotely via the U-Prox Installer mobile application. Tamper Detection Built-in physical tamper switch alerts the system if the device's casing is opened or removed from its mounting. Typical Applications The U-Prox Wireport is compatible with a wide variety of wired devices, including: Infrared motion barriers (beam sensors) Recessed magnetic contacts for doors and windows Wired shock or vibration sensors Specialized wired gas, flood, or temperature detectors
