The U-Prox water leak detector, known as the U-Prox Water, is a wireless device designed to provide early warnings of potential flooding or moisture in a property. It is highly sensitive, requires no installation other than placement on the floor, and integrates with the U-Prox security system to send instant alerts to a user's smartphone. Key Features and Specifications Detection Mechanism: The detector is equipped with four highly sensitive, gold-plated contacts on its base that detect the presence of water on a surface. Instant Alerts: When two or more contacts are bridged by water, an alarm notification is immediately sent to the U-Prox control panel and the user's mobile app. No Installation Required: The device is designed to be simply placed on the floor in at-risk areas (e.g., under sinks, washing machines, or in basements). Airtight Enclosure: The housing has an IP65 protection class, making it hermetically sealed and fully protected against dust and moisture, which ensures reliable performance in humid environments.
